Our client is an established, industry leading provider of Telecommunications solutions in the UK, now seeking to hire a Channel Sales Specialist in the NE. Reporting to the Managing Director, this is a key strategic appointment as the company grows beyond £20m annual turnover.

Location: Field Based. North East

Reports to: Head of Sales

Salary: to £40K plus commission, Laptop and Mobile

Sector: Dealer Channel within the Telecoms Industry

We are looking for an enthusiastic, target driven, individual with experience at building relationships with dealers in the UK.

The Job Role

  • Partner and end user face to face meetings
  • Proven track record of recruiting partners & managing their expectations
  • Driving partners to maximise sales
  • Working closely with partners to generate opportunities & leads
  • Training partners on new products and services
  • Making appointments to see new prospects and existing accounts
  • Build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships
  • Maintain the CRM system to develop prospecting and sales
  • Maintain open and effective lines of communication throughout the company to maintain a sense of teamwork, enthusiasm, pride, and quality workmanship.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • The successful candidate will need dealer or telecoms experience
  • Proven track record of closing new business
  • Hunter – likes the thrill of new business, recognition from contributing
  • Strategic thinker
  • Manages a heavy workload, prioritises and schedules work effectively in order to meet all deadlines
  • Optimises their own performance, manages tasks through to completion, takes pride in delivering quality work
  • Shows resilience in a competitive environment
  • Shows an understanding of the strategic direction in business
