Our client is a very well established supplier of corporate Telecoms solutions in the City of London. A privately-owned business that concentrates on excellent customer service, it has very low customer churn and has strong net new growth in its base. In recent years this reseller has seen a 100% increase in sales revenues by embracing the provision of hosted telephony, cloud and data connectivity services. Having recently acquired two companies, in ICT and Mobile Phone services, this company is expanding its workforce to exceed future growth targets.

The company is urgently looking to recruit a marketing and sales support co-ordinator.

Job Title

Marketing and Sales Support Co-ordinator

The Sales Support Co-ordinator is responsible for administrative support to the sales team as it positions itself to win client bids. Working closely with the sales director and sales team, you will learn about product offerings, working practices and target customers. You will also support the sales process by speaking to client contacts, liaising with suppliers, administration of the sales process and updating of online systems.

Duties and responsibilities

Deliver an exceptional level of support to the sales team.

Complete tasks given by senior account managers and report back on progress and completion.

Use company and partner tools and systems, and update relevant information held in these systems.

Liaise with the implementation team as and when required.

Attend training to develop relevant product and sales knowledge, techniques and skills.

Proactively build and deliver targeted marketing campaigns

Manage the DoubleEdge social media accounts

Maintain the vendor relationships pricing and collateral

Good spoken and written communication skills.

Good organisational and time management skills.

Good ‘people skills’, for working with a range of colleagues and clients.

Genuine interest in the modern marketing mix, including social media.

Well presented with a professional manner.

Be a team player.

Educated to degree level.

Passionate and driven

 

Minimum qualifications and relevant experience

Experience of a technology sales environment is important.

You will have worked alongside a B2B sales environment, where the sales team prospected for business by telephone, social media, qualified lead data and vertical markets.

You will have worked in in a desk-based admin or support role, or other roles requiring regular internal/external customer contact.

You will be enthusiastic, highly organised and pro-active.

Good basic and bonus : OTE £32k
